CERTIFICATION

The Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) is offering subsidies to food business operators who wish to obtain certification of food safety management systems and conformity certification or certification to JFS standards (hereinafter referred to as "certification, etc.") from Japan in order to promote the spread of JFS standards, as well as the costs associated with audits and inspections. This program will be implemented as a "Model Demonstration Project for Supporting Certification to JFS Standards," a project subsidized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) in fiscal 2021.

Eligible businesses selected through a public call for applications will receive subsidies for costs related to audits and inspections for certification. These costs include audit/audit fees, registration fees, and consulting fees.
