Every year on June 7, the United Nations observes World Food Safety Day. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, which sets international food standards, in 2023, the theme for this year's World Food Safety Day is "Food standards save lives."


The Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) is hosting an online event, World Food Safety Day 2023, as a place to learn and share food safety with all those involved in the food chain.
