Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) is currently accepting applications from businesses that wish to receive subsidies to cover the costs of audits and certification to JFS standards in order to expand exports and promote the spread of JFS standards for food safety management systems from Japan (hereinafter referred to as "certification"). We are inviting applications from businesses that wish to receive subsidies for the cost of audits and certification to JFS standards for export.

This project will be implemented under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) subsidized project "Export Environment Improvement Project for Processed Foods Utilizing Standards and Certification: Support for Model Acquisition of JFS Standards to Expand Exports" for fiscal 2023.

Eligible businesses selected through the public call for applications will receive subsidies of 50% of the costs (audit, registration, and consulting fees) associated with the acquisition of certification after the grant decision (scheduled for early October 2023), with a maximum subsidy of 500,000 yen.
