Special class was held at Shizunai Agricultural High School in Hokkaido
On Friday, May 23, JFSM President Masanori Kotani gave a special lecture at Hokkaido Shizunai Agricultural High School on the themes of "World Health Organization's Five Keys to Safer Food," "Introduction to HACCP," and "June 7 World Food Safety Day" as part of the Shizunai Agricultural Consortium's project.
The class was conducted in an online format. A participatory quiz utilizing smart phones was incorporated, and a system was introduced that allowed students to answer questions in real time.
This activity is introduced on the Codex Alimentarius Commission's website as one of the World Food Safety Day initiatives.
