【Applications Open Until September 30! Travel Subsidy Increased to JPY 200,000】Business Development Program Offering Direct Access to a Major Vietnamese Retail Group

ACTIVITY & OTHER

Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM), in collaboration with Saigon Co.op, one of Vietnam's leading retail groups, is implementing a business development and promotional PR program for businesses that have obtained JFS Standards certification.

The application deadline has been extended to September 30 (Wednesday), 2026.

For participating businesses traveling to Vietnam, JFSM will provide a travel expense subsidy of up to JPY 200,000 per business. (The travel subsidy has been increased!)

Unlike general trade exhibitions or market research tours, this is a special opportunity made possible through the strategic partnership between JFSM and Saigon Co.op.

This program provides JFS Standards-certified businesses considering entering or expanding in the Vietnamese market with an opportunity to learn about the local retail and distribution environment and explore the potential of their products in Vietnam.

Key Features and Benefits of the Program

① Direct access to Saigon Co.op

Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from Saigon Co.op representatives about the process of introducing products and importing goods into Vietnam. Participants can also introduce their own products and have direct discussions about their potential in the Vietnamese market and the possibility of product introduction.

The opportunity to directly promote your products to a major local retail company and receive feedback from them is one of the key features of this program.

② Experience Vietnam's retail environment and meet local consumers

Participants will visit three different types of stores operated by Saigon Co.op. Through product sampling and tasting at the stores, participants will also have the opportunity to observe and assess local consumer reactions.

③ Travel expense subsidy of up to JPY 200,000

Participating businesses traveling to Vietnam will receive a travel expense subsidy of up to JPY 200,000 per business.

④ Participation is possible even without traveling to Vietnam

Businesses that are unable to travel can also participate by providing product samples only. JFSM will display and introduce the products locally, providing an opportunity to promote them in the Vietnamese market.

This program is recommended for businesses that:

  • Are considering exporting to Vietnam or expanding their sales channels in the Vietnamese market
  • Want to learn about the process of introducing products and establishing business relationships in the Vietnamese market
