WHAT’S NEW

The JFS-B standard was officially approved for use as a GMP certificate in the regulations pertaining to the hygiene standards required for manufacturing facilities of food products for export to Thailand.

STANDARD & GUIDELINES

The Regulations Concerning Sanitation Standards Required of Manufacturing Facilities for Food Products Exported to Thailand came into effect on April 11, 2021.

In addition to the previously approved JFS-C certificate, the Thai government has now approved the JFS-B Certificate of Conformity as a document that can be used as a GMP certificate under these regulations. This is the first approval as a private food safety conformity certification standard.

refer to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) website for an overview of the Thai Ministry of Health Notification No. 420, and for details and contact information regarding GMP certificates.
