Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) held the "JFS Standards Promotion Seminar" in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 18, 2026.
The seminar was jointly organized with International Certification and Compliance Co., Ltd. (ICC), a JFS registered Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) in Thailand, and was held in a hybrid format, with both on-site and online participation.

At the seminar, we introduced the features of the JFS Standards, the Financial Support Program for JFS certification, practical initiatives related to food safety culture, food defense, and food fraud prevention, as well as the certification process and key points of audits.
We also invited a JFS-certified food business in Thailand to share its experience and initiatives toward obtaining JFS certification, followed by an exchange of views with the participants.

The following food business, which obtained JFS-A certification on August 14, 2026, gave a presentation at the seminar:

The company became the first organization in Thailand to obtain a certificate of conformity to a JFS Standard.
To commemorate this achievement, ICC presented the company with a Certificate of Conformity, while JFSM presented a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its contribution to the promotion and implementation of the JFS Standards in Thailand.
In conjunction with the seminar, JFSM launched a Financial Support Program for JFS certification for food businesses in Thailand. Applications are currently being accepted from businesses interested in obtaining JFS certification.

JFSM will continue to work with ICC and other relevant organizations in Thailand to promote the JFS Standards and contribute to the improvement of food safety management in the country.
