JFSM Publishes Multilingual (English, Thai, Vietnamese) Versions of Implementation Support Handbooks on Food Safety Culture, Food Fraud Prevention, and Food Defense

STANDARD & GUIDELINES

Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) has newly released English, Thai, and Vietnamese versions of its "Implementation Support Handbooks" to support initiatives on food safety culture, food fraud prevention, and food defense.

■ Food Defense Implementation Support Handbook
English / Thai / Vietnamese

These handbooks address key elements that were introduced and strengthened in JFS-C Standard Ver.3.2, namely FSM2: Food Safety Culture, FSM7: Food Defense, and FSM8: Food Fraud Prevention.
They are designed to support practical implementation by a broad range of food business operators, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and feature explanations, practical examples, and Q&A sections.

The newly released multilingual versions are intended for use by food business operators, conformity assessment bodies, and certification bodies worldwide.
They are also expected to be utilized as training materials for foreign workers employed in Japan.

We hope these materials will help promote a deeper understanding of JFS Standards and contribute to the further strengthening of food safety management practices.

JFSM will continue to enhance and expand the content of these handbooks.
In addition to revising existing materials, we are considering the development of new guidance on additional topics such as hazard control and cross-contamination prevention.
